Does the facility offer a free lock with rental? American Harbor gives you a free high quality round disk lock with your rental for you to keep.
Do the managers live on-site? In case of an emergency this could be very important.
Does the facility have access to moving trucks? American Harbor is located next to a U-Haul facility which offers all sizes of moving trucks – not just one smaller size. Many times these trucks and equipment are better maintained than vehicles offered by individual storage facilities.
Are the storage units easy to access with wide doors that you can drive your vehicle right up to? All American Harbor doors are “drive up” type so you can pull right to your own door.
Does the facility have surveillance cameras throughout the property? American Harbor does.
Does the facility have computer gate access that allows you to come and go 7 days a week and all holidays? American Harbor does and our gates are also electronically coded so our managers can keep track of who is on the property at all times.
Is the facility easy to enter and exit? Do you need to cross busy streets to get in? Sometimes when you are driving a large truck or pulling a trailer this can be difficult. American Harbor offers easy entry from the I-35 access road and wide drive lanes.
Does the facility accept all major credit cards?
Does the facility offer free monthly billing? Sometimes you can forget a bill is due without a statement.
Does the facility offer specials and incentives? American Harbor offers drawings each month for our tenants.
